Dairy-Free Berry Smoothie


This smoothie is great for a refreshing snack during this hot season. Its packed with goodness so its guilt-free as well. Blueberries are a wonderful superfood, packed with antioxidants. Blueberries are also believed to boost our immune system and to improve brain functions like memory retention, learning and motor skills. Try to use fresh, frozen or free-dried blueberries to get the most nutrients out of your drink as those that have been cooked, canned or bottled may lost their nutrients during processing.

This smoothie is gluten-free as well as dairy free.

Blueberry, Banana and Mint Smoothie
Serves 2

1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2 small, frozen bananas (“nam wa“)
1 and 1/4 cup soya or almond milk
2 mint leaves, torn
Chia Seeds (optional)

Add all ingredients into a blender and pulse until well blended and you reach your desired consistency. Serve garnished with fresh blueberries.
